One of the important places to visit while taking a Lee Morse tour is Palo Pinto, Texas, the birthplace of her father, Pleasant John Taylor. Lee had a lot of relatives in Texas -and she lived there herself (circa. 1936) so she would have likely made many visits to her kin folk in Palo Pinto.

This is the church building that was established by her grandfather, Stephen Slade Taylor. Lee's father did his first preaching here.

The landmark sign in front of the building.

Standing in the footprints of the Taylor family...

The Crazy Water (Retirement) Hotel in Mineral Wells, Texas.

A step back in time in the Pavilion room...

Dismuke and I take a visit to the Famous Mineral Water Company.

Dismuke spends some quality time with an iconic landmark!

The gorgeous Baker Hotel patiently waiting for a well-deserved restoration.

While admiring the hotel from the front steps outside, we were offered an informal tour of the inside by the security staff.

A window on the third floor affords us an excellent view of the swimming pool...

It's really too dark to show up properly on video, but here's a view of the lobby.

There are only two of the original chandeliers left in the Baker Hotel.

I guess we're a little too late to check in!
